Almond Rice (Seasoning Mix)

  • Mix Ingredients
  • 1 cup Almonds (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp Parsley (dried)
  • 4.5 tsp Dill Weed
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • .75 tsp Celery Seed
  • .75 tsp Garlic Powder
  • .5 tsp Pepper
  • For each serving:
  • 500 ml Broth
  • 180 g Rice (1 cup)
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  1. Directions:

  2. Combine all mix ingredients and store in an airtight container.
  3. To prepare rice dish:
  4. Put broth, butter, and 3 tablespoons (EL) of mix in a small pot. Bring to a boil. Add the rice and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until broth is absorbed.
