Cut broccoli into small pieces. Heat pot with about 2-4 tablespoons (EL) water. Lightly cook broccoli for about 5-8 minutes.
In a large flat pan, heat olive oil. Mince garlic and add cook it in the oil for less than a minute. Next add red pepper flakes and broccoli and cook for another 5 minutes. Finally, season everything with salt and pepper.
