Creamy Spinach

  • 275 g Spinach (frozen chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • 2 tbsp Onion
  • 1 tbsp Flour
  • 125 ml Milk
  • .5 tsp Sugar
  • .25 tsp Salt
  • .25 tsp Pepper
  • .125 tsp Nutmeg
  1. Directions:

  2. Cook Spinach for in sauce pan (covered) for 8-10 minutes on medium low heat. Set aside.
  3. Melt butter in small skillet on medium heat. Cook onions until softened, for about 1 to 2 minutes. Stir in flour and add remaining ingredients, mixing constantly, until sauce thickens. Blend in spinach. Continue cooking for another 2 minutes.
