Melt yeast in water for about 5 minutes. Mix together rest of ingredients. Leave dough to rise, lightly oiled and covered. Divide in two pieces after rising. Shape into loaves and place inside greased loaf pans. Lightly dust loaves with flour and slash loaf tops. Cover bread with a towel and let rise for another 15 minutes.
Preheat oven to 230 C (450 F). Cook until bread is browned, for about 30-45 minutes.
