Cook rice in 1.5 cups water. Set aside. Mince garlic and chop onions. Shred cabbage. Finely chop chili. Place egg seasoning ingredients in a bowl. Place spice sauce ingredients in a separate bowl. Add garlic to spice sauce bowl.
In a non-stick pan, cook eggs like scrambled eggs with half Tablespoon oil. Just as eggs begin to solidify, immediately add egg seasoning and garlic and continue scrambling.
Once cooked, transfer to a cutting board and cut up into small pieces. Add remaining half Tablespoon oil, onions, rice, cabbage, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook until lettuce is wilted. Add spice sauce last, cooking for another 2 minutes or so until rice is lightly crispy.
