Cook noodles and drain. Set aside. Melt 1 tablespoon (1 EL) butter in frying pan. Add almonds and sauté over low heat until golden brown. Remove from pan and set aside.
To make sauce:
Melt 1 tablespoon (1 EL) of butter in saucepan on medium heat. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, over low heat until well blended. Gradually add milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper. Add Parmesan cheese.
