Sommersalat (Summer Salad)

  • 6 Servings:

  • 4 mini Bell Peppers (or 2 large)
  • 1 whole Cucumber
  • 1 head Lettuce
  • Salad Dressing
  • 1 bunch Chives
  • 2 sprigs Dill (or use .5 tablespoon dried)
  • 6 tbsp Vinegar
  • 6 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 3 tsp Sugar
  • Salt, Pepper
  1. Directions:

  2. Cut bell peppers and cucumbers into thin slices. Cut the lettuce into small bite-sized pieces. Mix cut vegetables together in a large bowl.
  3. To make salad dressing, first cut chives and dill into small pieces. Combine the vinegar, oil and herbs. Season with salt, pepper and sugar to taste. Serve salad portion drizzled with salad dressing.
